She founded the Deborah Page Gallery in Santa Monica, CA in 2006 and has since been collaborating with a multitude of architects and designers on a variety of projects.
A uniquely defiant tastemaker, Page is not your ordinary art consultant by any stretch. Self taught, she never attended and institutions for art or studied under any particular designers. Instead, her career has been that of a truly organic and intrinsic nature, giving her an edge of playful authenticity, an out of the box approach that lends itself to spontaneity and sophistication. As Page becomes acquainted with her environment, there begins the dialogue of possibility calling forth unimaginable solutions and opportunities for expansiveness. The spaces she creates speak to the deep imagination, limitless in expression and chalk full of paradox, where innocence and provocateur engage equally and the raw, broken and unrefined converge with tactful precision and contemporary elegance. Page seams together new realms, comingling the works of masters with the rudimentary. Her ability to see beyond the surface of expectation transports on into a caldron of exploration and inspires artistic integrity.
